Starting in fall 2012, Bryan ISD will implement My Instructional Technology (MIT) for all students. MIT will allow students to bring their own electronic devices to school for the sole purpose of research, assessment, and/or learning opportunities.

The goal of MIT is to foster a more personalized learning environment where students use instructional tools that enhance and expand their understanding and application of the curriculum. Students are not required to bring their own electronic devices to school. All BISD schools have computers and other electronic devices
for students to use when needed.

Classroom teachers and administrators have the ultimate say on when and how personal electronic devices will be utilized. All questions regarding MIT should be directed to the campus administrator.
